Writer/Investigator With a Lot Going on Inside
Stuart Cabot-Jenkins, recently from Green Bay, had been staying in northern Michigan at the “Martensen House” (built by John Martensen, naturally) trying to uncover the mystery left behind by another investigator some 20 years prior: Hiram Crewe. Turns out he stumbled into the basement and was infested by the little white pustule creatures. Slowly dying and going mad, he reached out to Prof. Lester Morrow who asked him to come to Portland, thinking that Douglas Ryder might be able to assist given his recent articles. Stuart, presumably delirious, went directly to the Taylor Home and promptly fell apart. Ew.
