Officer Vernon Dennis
Somewhere on the far side of the middle 40’s, Officer Dennis has an air of age and placid wisdom that most policemen lack, especially when paired with the fledgling Officer Michael Prosser. Nothing appears to phase him, even the weirdness around the Auction murders.
He treated our investigators initially as suspects, but seems to have come around and accepted the theory that it was all the work of smugglers operating out of Portland’s Shanghai tunnels. He was in charge of the teams watching The Taylor Home and personally delivered the Statuette after it was released as evidence.
Clara Taylor doesn’t particularly like him.
